The knob Clarkey is reporting there are rumours that we are looking at releasing The Cheeses early & signing Damien Cook.
Never know as 90% written is garbage but a few things connect. He’s been dropped, rumours of unrest & at the same time the Bunnies are looking to offload Cook.Skeletor wanted Cheese at the Phins & now he’s going to the scum, so who knows.
What are everyone thoughts on this?

No thanks. Cook is over the hill. At 28 the cheese still has a number of good years left in him. Tbh the only hookers I'd seriously entertain bringing in if cheese left would be Api, Grant or maybe Robson.

Cook over the hill? I’m not sure that’s right. I watched Friday night’s game and he was one of the best players on the park. His service from dummy half was very crisp which helped Souths get on the front foot, his defence was strong, he scored a try and he managed to play flat chat from start to finish. He rarely has a poor game and he doesn’t come with all the “baggage” that Smith seems to have. I’d be happy to see him play with us if Smith exits.

It would be reminiscent of Cronk replacing a misbehaving Mitchell Pearce.
