  • Connor Watson to make Origin debut

James Hooper reporting Watson is on the bench.

Huge congratulations to him. On form he deserves it 100%.

What an incredible comeback after missing the whole of last year.

Fantastic news, he basically made it impossible for them to leave him out.

Fantastic news for him, absolutely deserves it.

think I remember the reason he came back to us was because robbo promised him an origin selection playing as utility.

        Promise fulfilled

I’m so happy to see Connor being rewarded for being such a capable, versatile, hard working and enthusiastic bloke. He’s played out of his skin this year and I hope he kills it at Origin. Robbo said he’s an incredible teammate and I’d have to agree.

              Well deserved as he can play 1, 6, 13, 8 & 9.

And a good looking Rooster to boot.

                Congratulations to the bloke.

He's a guest on Sunday Night with Matty Johns tonight.

I guess it means the team will be missing up to 5 players for SOO (plus Suaalii) when they play Canterbury. Shit!

Also Burton was not named for the Blues so he will line up against the Roosters on Saturday!

Well deserved in deed, but I doubt they’ll use him at prop.

Agreed, but some of his best games with us were as a bench prop against bigger tired forwards.
