Yeah there will only ever be one Jack.

Jack changed the game, Robbo built the culture of a club. Thats the best way I can describe it.

There will never be another Coach to influence the game of Rugby League as Jack did. It's silly to compare others with him.

But Robbo has his own legacy of longevity and success with Easts, albeit with great squads. But...he did it.

Probably because you're old and back then you were impressionable/ Robbos at least Jacks equal in ESDRLFC ! No disrespect intended to anyone.

Naah, he had Mike Eden, Horrie, Mick Ryan, Royce Ayliffe, Jeff Masterman, Ian Barkley, Marty Gurr just to name a few in 83. Then in 84 he brought guys like Tom Arber and the Sorensens over. He actually did a pretty good job in 83. we were sitting nicely in the top 5 on 29 points with 4 rounds to go and then lost the lot meaning we played Saints in a mid week play off and from memory we had a player sent off early and got dusted. Was a really disappointing end ot the season. In 84 we beat Manly convincingly first up and then we were just crap and finished 2nd last

Where did you get the numbers from? According to Trent's profile on the Roosters website, his record is 199 wins, and 115 losses (63%). That's a total of 314 matches.

It's unclear however whether that includes the World Club Challenges and Auckland 9's games.

Edit: I found some stats. He is on 298 games. Which means Robbo's 300th should be the same game that JWH equals Aubbo's record of 306.
