On a positive note that article also states we may get Mark W after the Olympics if we can register his contract today. That will help with his transition next year. There’s not much more I can add about Billy.

TBH I am not surprised he will be out for the season, the writing on the wall was the update from a week or 2 ago.

He might not be on a real lot of money but the Chooks are still paying him a salary and luck or no luck he has been pocketing a salary from us for 6 seasons. Sure he is a great player once he gets 6 or 7 games in a row under his belt but he has done that once.(last season) After about 27 games in 6 years, the club must be asking some serious questions as to whether to cut and run with him,

Especially next year we are going to be a lot less experienced in the outside backs and having one (Billy) spend 75 percent of the season (in a good year for him) to 100 percent of the season out, is not smart at all...

He has an ankle cartilage injury for which he had an arthroscope. I call BS on this 'news', it' just somebody with a pen writing BS.

Who cares hes probably on $200k a year & if I had a staff member earning $200k that turned up twice a year I’d punt them. I also don’t care about blokes that love clubs, you’re there to play, not just because you get a hard on over a club. Besides of course he loves the club, he’s been stealing money off them his whole career & they’ve let him, so why wouldn’t he love them. Just think a 40yr old Jennings has done more for the club than Smith ever has & he’s on half the coin.
