Happy to let sitili go and get Preston back?
honestly he is depth now and not in our best 17 so best to let him go and use this money elsewhere
whether he is on $650k or more $400k it’s still a lot for an inconsistent depth player
he has done well but better off taking another offer to get in the dogs 17
they should pay most of his contract as well

we must be building to someone big soon

I like Tilly. He has X factor but yes his defence has never been great. He’s a bit of a flat track bully and goes well when the team is going well. I will be disappointed to see him go. Been with us a long time now.

I assume we have a plan. Lots must be going on behind the scenes.

I was howled down a year ago for saying he was our 5th best backrower. He was.

We'll definitely be cashed up! I wonder who we're targeting as there aren't many quality players coming off contract.

As somebody who's currently in the process of changing jobs (despite being relatively happy with my current employer and having considered it 'home' for ~7 years) I wouldn't read too much into it. Similar position TBH as they gave me a crack when others wouldn't, developed me and loaded me up with promotions / interesting work. Times have changed since and the writing's on the wall.

IMO this kinda thing happens for all sorts of reasons. He's an Easts junior who's done well outta our systems. If he's gonna get some more cash and game-time elsewhere (with a club that's on the rise) then good on him I reckon.

                      Is Uncle Nick cooking?

I understand this from Tupouniua's perspective but from ours I'm struggling to see the bigger picture at the moment.

We must have close to 3m to spend next year.

Dylan Brown is off contract at the end of next season.

Don’t see why we would do this? He is contracted still, and with the Fifita deal falling through, the ball would remain in our court as to whether or not we let him leave.

Sitili was going gangbusters last year after coming back from the ACL, in the 6 or so games he played. Then he got injured again, which was disappointing.

I've never really rated him, but do think he has talent and would be a shame to lose him without him having another extended, uninterrupted opportunity.

Well over 4m if we don’t sign Angus, then there is still the noise about Brandon Smith.

At the moment, 2025 is looking like a complete mystery.

Don’t kid yourselves , no one had Stili in your starting team, let alone 17…

Our back row is set for now,( Crichton will resign ) with plenty of young and established talent as backup

                                I wish him the best.
