Only half time and already a 6-2 penalty count against us, favouring a side that is clearly outclassed and yet somehow far more disciplined than us in the opinion of the referee. Just to keep it from being 30 or 40 nil at half time.

And I'd be surprised if the referee suddenly started being impartial in the second half, therefore we are on track to be on another double figures negative penalty differential by the end of the 80 minutes.

When we already have a 25 penalty or so "lead'" over our next nearest "rival" for penalties conceded.

The NRL is a corrupt heap of shit.

Is a level playing field really such an outrageous thing to ask for?

Not related to the game but FFS ... I really hope that we're gonna give some young outside backs coming through an early crack and/or promote players into our top 30 or sign some outside backs as depth cover quickly.

We are basically down with player options.

He would have missed the Bulldogs game if selected for SOO 2 - still a 4 game suspension - Eels / Dogs or SOO2/Tiger and Dragons games

Joey Manu won’t return with a suspected hand fracture. Pretty immediate reaction after palming off tackler - likely wrist/finger got caught up. Plenty of hand bones - fracture in the “ideal” spot can see a return in 3-4 weeks. Varies though so just as likely to be 6-8 weeks.
