Solid effort by Brandon Smith last night. Pretty much played the 80 and was our leading tackler with 47. Was still busting his arse at the end and was shattered when they scored at the death. Not bad for a bloke who's not fit enough to play NRL.....

Yeah, he’s playing with a bit more determination since he was dropped. I like it.

He's trying to get things back on track and they dish out that shiit to him.

I was thinking 4 to 5 weeks before he can catch and pass a footy. 8 weeks before he can commence contact training.

Late to the comments, was at the game so didn’t sit on my phone.

Was obviously a good performance. Still lacking a bit of polish which isn’t a bad thing at this time of the year. Still building towards our best when it matters.

Also farrk me we are cursed in the outside backs. No Joey for a few weeks at least.

Haven't you heard someone snap their hamstring or break a bone ?. I was at Taylor Square back in my party days. It was day break and I heard someones skull crack as they fell backwards and hit their head on the concrete ground. I was 30 odd metres away. You may need to get your hearing aid serviced.

I snapped my plantaris tendon playing golf. There was a loud bang and I just fell straight to the ground. I thought I'd been shot the noise was so loud.

If you could hear someone fracture their hand on a football field watching on TV or at the ground then you truly have bionic ears as not even the commentators heard it as they access to all camera's and mike/sound affects

Worst injury I saw was in a baseball game - NSW Winter Major League - one of our players hit what was normally a stand up triple - their 3rd base did a dummy tag forcing our player to slide into 3rd base - suffered multiple spiral fractures of the leg along with other injuries - his leg folded up like an accordion is the best way to describe it - you could hear it as were metres away.

The damage was that bad they considered amputation of the leg - had numerus operations to fix it - metal plates and metal rods etc

Mate, I also heard it. The poster doesn't have bionic ears, but certain frequencies may be more audible than others. It's not the first time I've heard a bone snap on the footy field.

And when they pan the camera to the audience, it's like watching the bar scene from Star Wars while you're on a particularly bad acid trip.
