No, I'm serious - too much shit from Anasta and being screwed by the refs and Melbourne Storm's continued existence has killed my enjoyment for League.

The only ego in the AFL is Andrew Demietriou (or however you say it) which is why it's successful in Melbourne and the outlying villages.

If we keep getting screwed in games, i think I'll start watching GWS instead.
It's not like the Swans don't get screwed over too at times (though compared to the Roosters they have enough grit and class to not be burdened by it). Scott Mclaren (in the hey-days), that little prick Razor Ray, a couple of significant interchange infringements (Carlton game last year and Freo this year) just off the top of my head. The AFL has its fair share of horrendous umpire blunders and Geischen is just as noticeable in the media as Bill. It was disingenuous for Eddie to suggest that the umps aren't talked about in the AFL. Categorically untrue.

Perhaps the difference is that in the AFL scoring opportunities are aplenty and games can turn on their head quite quickly so one poor decision can normally be redeemed. In the NRL points scoring is relatively low and generally we don't see as many momentum shifts so a bad decision has a magnified impact on the game.

Blasphemy. Can't be a true Swans supporter if you're cheering on the little brother. Like being a part-time Souths supporter for the good of the game.

LOL That's funny because when I watched the Origin there was a small TV next to the big one. The small TV had a show with multiple sex scenes playing, but nobody except me and my dirty mates noticed it!

Try living down here buddy! Stupid gap year I decided to have. I just started a new job and I'm surrounded by wall to wall posters of Collingwood, Richmond, Essendon & Geelong. Funny thing is, one of our biggest accounts is a major Storm sponsor, and not one person has a Storm poster anywhere in the office. 161 days until my gap year is up...not that I'm counting..I was actually nice to a Maroons fan yesterday on the street because I was desperate for conversation about league. He admitted they were lucky to get away with the win..

My son plays AFL and i enjoy watching the Giants play.

BUt my love is the Roosters and rugby league

I could compare it too my current situation, being happily married for 19 yrs, with Ms Tee on the side.

Although i wish i was screwed half as much as the Roosters the last few years.

One of our customers is ex Vic & was telling me about how he always thought that RL was for soft cocks.
He is now an ardent RL fan & calls the other code Pansy Footy. LOL
