They have before. At Magic Round last year they told him to “put up or shut up”. He toned it down a fair bit since but (and I’ve stopped watching 360) if he keeps saying it publicly the club should drag him.

I wonder what the NRL thinks of his consistent allegations that are essentially saying that the NRL isn’t doing a correct and proper role of policing the salary cap

I know this is raised frequently on this forum, but watching NRL Gordon Tallis AGAIN implies that we are cheating the cap.
He always says he is just saying what the punter thinks as a form of cover … IMO we can laugh and joked and say what a clown he is but at the end of the day he is saying on National TV that we are cheating, or a least it’s implied

We shouldn't have to. Why does the NRL let him get away with it? He's an employee of an organisation who are contracted to broadcast the sport. Gus Gould gets muzzled by the NRL for complaining about the standard of the refereeing. But this guy, without any evidence, gets away with suggesting a participant club is engaged in systematic fraud and cheating? Imagine a commentator on ESPN saying the same about the LA Lakers? Not a chance. Amateur hour from the NRL, as usual.

Go and look at the Broncos teams he won comps in too. The Broncos from 97-2000 when he won 3 comps contained half of the Australian team. Zero chance they were under the cap.

Cronk is very intelligent in regards to his analysis of the game, he speaks extremely well on TV but MY GOD HE IS BORING!!

Tallis like all other footy journos is paid by the media who in turn are in partners with the NRL. It’s paid for comment therefore it’s the business model.
The media are a blight on the game and I refuse to read any of their shit or watch any of their shit programs like NRL 360. They all need elocution lessons !
The longer Danika Mason stays at Ch 9 doesn’t enhance her career. She showed promised but is just a well groomed presenter with bogan tendencies due to her work environment.It’s like the old saying you hang with dogs then you likely get fleas.
