  • Will Krisnan Inu play on Monday night?

Joined the Dogs immediate release... if he does play how do we target him? Does he bring them more good or bad?

In a press conference today Des all but confirmed that he would be starting on the wing because of the injuries to Bryson Goodwin and Steve Turner

          Official Bulldogs Statement

At just 25 and already on his third NRL club, Krisnan Inu knows Canterbury could represent his last chance saloon.

Inu joined the Bulldogs on Thursday on a three-and-a-half year deal after being granted an immediate release by the Warriors.

The former Kiwi international struggled to hold down a first-grade spot at the Warriors and Parramatta before them, despite playing in two of the past three grand finals.

The Bulldogs are Inu's third club in three years and he knows he might not get another chance to prove himself.

"This is very important for me. I want to get more game time but I know I've got to work hard for it," he said.

"I'm grateful to be given this opportunity. People say this might be make-or-break for me ... I see it as a new start - for me to take my game to the next level and play some good football. It is good to be back here (in Sydney). All my friends are here - the churches are here. I am looking for that continuity."

Inu denied he was unhappy at the Warriors and said he was buoyed by Bulldogs' coach Des Hasler's faith in him evidenced in his long-term contract.

"I was not unhappy there. We were on different pages (the Warriors and me), there are lots of young players coming through over there and this opportunity came up," he said.

"Des has done a lot of things in the game, and he is the man to help my game.

"I want more game time and I think I can get that here."

Hasler welcomed Inu into a side he said had lost five outside backs to season-ending injuries.

"Krisnan brings a wealth of experience with him," Hasler said.

"He is an international. He has played in grand finals - he is a quality player. He has the opportunity to play some consistent first grade here. But he knows he has to be playing good football to do that."

Hasler will rush Inu into his line-up to meet the Sydney Roosters at Allianz Stadium on Monday. It will be the four-Test representative's 100th NRL game which includes the 2009 grand final for the Eels and last year's premiership decider with the Warriors.

That's what immediately sprung to my mind, how the hell do the dogs fit him under the cap for this year??? Unless they immediately offload a player or two it is a joke!!
The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!

                Here's looking at you, kid.

Prolly the same way that Des did it with Manly.
All comes to a head in 3 years time....that's why Manly had the problems this year with $ & cap.
