  • Praise Connor

He has been absolutely sensational this year. I have always liked him. Reminded me a lot of Rocky Laurie and his efforts have been nothing short of amazing. He has acceleration from a stand still that penetrates the defensive line and cause to to be fractured, thus opening the possibility for broken play by Teddy and co.
Hope he stays injury free , and the whole squad too, and I feel he could be the X factor we need to break the Penrith hoodoo and win the premiership.

Connor at 13 and Rads playing wider has given us a new dimension. Great to see Rads just tucking the ball under his arm and doing what he does best.

What a great season we missed him so much last year
many on here were wanting him gone after last year
he even has the cheese only playing 40 min and robbo can’t take him off the field
playing better then cheese at 9 and rads at 13
one of the most valuable to our then this year

I think that is the Number 1 reason we are flying as well as we are. Amongst other things (Sam, the forward pack).

Radley leaving that first receiver role and becoming more of a ball runner has straightened our attack and improved our potency tenfold.

I have to admit I questioned his return at the beginning of the year. I am very happy to have been proven a complete fool in this regard.

I think Connor is in great form but I would have him starting from the bench.
If everyone is fit & not suspended I would start with
              JWH
              Cheese
              Collins
              Gus
              Rads
              Whyte

              Reserves

              Watson
              May
              Leniu
              Sitilli

May needs to start. The lad has the biggest motor in the NRL. You could potentially play him for 80 minutes. Whyte can play on an edge or middle which would free up a bench spot. Perfect scenario to carry an outside back on your bench as they're going down like flies. Agree on Watson. His impact off the bench will be a huge plus especially against the better teams.

100% agree with this as our best forward pack and bench. Sort of a toss up between Sitili and Wong for that last spot, but I’m happy with Sitili. Steep wouldn’t be far off either.

So much so that we couldn’t put one on the bench even if we wanted to.

Very true mate. Slater had Cobbo on the bench for SOO 1. I reckon more coaches will start to think this way and have a genuine back on the bench especially when your season is on the line.

connor's playing great. he's no organiser and you get the feeling that he doesn't know what he's going to do when he gets the ball but he's fast and strong and often looks likely to break the line. a real jack in the box. his defence has been great and being able to play 80 mins is a bonus

Yes, he has been very good, but before I move him into amazing or sensational he needs to do it for the full year. Angus and Terrell I would call amazing and sensational.
Connor, I don't know, he just hasn't done it for a long period. I get the feeling the opposition is going to work out very soon that he never passes the ball.
Just my opinion, I have been wrong before.

Oh and it's got the ball players ball playing and the backs getting earlier ball. Who would have thought that might work?
