    [QUOTE=King Salvo;n1062706]

    On another site they are saying the Roosters can't replace Corban or Shawden as the trial is considered part of the NRLW season - They could replace them if injured in pre-season training or in another competition prior to the NRLW season?

    They have to use Harvey Norman NSW Women's premiership players as replacements/QUOTE]

    At this late stage I'm not sure where we bring a quality player in from?

    Maybe we seek an exemption and chase one of the 7s players after the Olympics. Charlotte Caslick played a few years back...

      I think Jayme Fressard would be next up - maybe Shannon Rose although not sure of her fitness as she didn't play the trial and missed all of the NRLW season last year with the hamstring and then hand fracture which required multiple reconstructive surgeries .

      The ready made replacement player is Tyra Ekepati who is on a development contract but can't play as she is under 18 - players have to be 18 at least to play NRLW. They can play Harvey Norman NSW Women's premiership games though.
      dunno if sergis has played much fb if at all but there were comments that either her or kelly might play there in the 2022 comp once baxter got pregnant.
      fressard is an nrlw standard 3/4 but do we win a comp with her at 1? sergis would need to learn positional stuff very quickly but she's a good defender and a potential match winner with ball in hand.
      anyway, strangey will have a better idea of what the girls are capable of - see we've signed naividi who i believe is a winger. might allow jasmine strange to play in the back row if amber hall is unavailable
