The storm are at the top of the ladder managing to win many close games but Havnt put many 80 min performances together
they have Bellamy having a heart attack every game

if We do the basics right with winning the penalty count, possession and territory and errors we will give ourselves the best chance! It’s a game we will need to build set after set and not expect to score every set
our forwards and backs are capable, it will come down to game management from Keary and walker to get us over the line

The Storm are the NRL's futile attempt to penetrate the VFL market.

VFL's a thing if you're from Melbourne, Adelaide or Perth. The NRL for some reason thinks that twisting the rules so that a Melbourne based team always finishes top-4 (pretty easy - don't suspend their players for 4-5 weeks at a time and give Bellyache your private number so that you van discuss how the rules 'SHOULD' be interpreted) is a good cause.

Meanwhile, nobody from Melbourne supports the Drizz and (unfortunately for various players / ex-players who are often quite talented), fans from other states often dismiss their achievements as the 'Melbourne Project' is such a blatant farce.

Yeah the qld forwards have copped it after game 2 and you know Lindsay will go real hard. Just hope he and Spencer dont run into each other- could get messy

Let's hope there is no Disrupter and Nelson doesn't lend weight to his team mate in a try scoring situation. No Ashley Klein so we are a good chance.

No excuses after the bye. I wanna see him do biiig minutes and faaarkin rip in!!!!

Whyte and Rads (the Pommie git!!!) can join him too, ay.
This kid will play all game with the same intensity has done so a couple times already this season playing 80 mins, he’s no JWH lacks the aggression to put fear in opposing packs he’s no alpha but what he is in my eyes, is one of the fittest most skilful prop in the game that can offload, make tackles without misses pass like a halfback and possess great composure and vision almost like a halfback, his kick chase and simply being in the right place at the right time scores tries for fun, and he is disciplined hardly makes errors or give away penalties.

Melbourne will try to get under our skin and get dirty I wish we had Jazza for this game just to keep those cheats in check.

Guess who's in the box seat ? Another Kleindestined manipulation of the regulations? Do be surprised if the bunker cites JWH and sends him to the bin again

Wouldn't expect any 50/50 calls referred to the bunker to go our way ...

Aaah that's right... now I remember how they 'won' last time around.

Fortunately I reckon we've improved a lot since then.

One thing about Melbourne is, they never beat themselves. And they have endless patience -- note how many games they win in the last 10 minutes.

If we clock off, we're cooked.

I always look at the Storm side and think how can they be on top of the table!! Yet they consistently produce a safe and structured style that holds up no matter who is playing. They are definitely the favourites as they have pretty much owned us for the last few years. No excuses even with JWH and Joey out. We are looking at the core of our team going forward and they need to prove they are ready.
this is going to be awesome.

You are correct but we will never win the penalty count

Gotta hand it to the Storm, they’re always up there and always fighting til the end..

This week will be no different,if we want to win we will need to really earn it..

I am a little concerned as I do see the Storm as the favourites this year, here’s hoping we go there and ambush them!

Like others have said, huge game in context of a possible top 2 finish. Storm still have to play Penrith,Broncs in QLD who have players back & Cows in North Queensland. This game could be the difference in playing Melb or Penrith at their grounds or at Allianz
