VFL's a thing if you're from Melbourne, Adelaide or Perth. The NRL for some reason thinks that twisting the rules so that a Melbourne based team always finishes top-4 (pretty easy - don't suspend their players for 4-5 weeks at a time and give Bellyache your private number so that you van discuss how the rules 'SHOULD' be interpreted) is a good cause.
Meanwhile, nobody from Melbourne supports the Drizz and (unfortunately for various players / ex-players who are often quite talented), fans from other states often dismiss their achievements as the 'Melbourne Project' is such a blatant farce.

Give Melbourne some respect they are a champion club & have been at the top of the tree for 20 years.
No other club turns no names into champions like them.
I always look forward to the Roosters playing them because when we win you know you've beaten a well drilled quality side

I hate playing them, we *always* lose.
...well except for that great 2018 GF win.

It's also the reality that they've been a better team than us over the past few years. It's not that difficult to see why they've had a good record against us - we've been strugglign to make the 8. I don't see how that relates to us playing them this week.

we've only beaten them once in the last whatever but in the last 5 years we've beaten them when it counts - the 2018 gf and the 2019 prelim. 2018 is the one that got away for the storm - we played with 12 fit players and managed to win the comp. the 2019 prelim could have gone either way - as could the gf the following week - but we kept our nose in front. those victories ensured we won two comps.
would have been good to win last year's semi but we were long odds to win the comp. one thing about bellamy's record - he's one of the all time great coaches, if not the greatest, but for all the storm's consistency they haven't won more comps than us in the last dozen years

The side to face the Melbourne Storm at 7:35pm this Saturday at AAMI Park has been trimmed down 24 hours ahead of kick-off.
No changes have been made to the starting side, with Ethan King 18th man and Siua Wong the remaining reserve.
