I love Lindsay, but I'm starting to worry about him a bit. He doesn't seem to make yards with his carries, and just doesn't seem as mobile as maybe he once was or have the leg speed with the ball or without. No doubting his heart or his motor or anything like that. I hope I'm wrong.

yeah, he's probably the best of the props when it comes to off the ball work. him falling on a ball in the qld in goal area near the side line doesn't happen with any other prop in the game.
lindsay's going great - not worried about him

I just wonder how such a big man can get smashed so often. He seems to cop it a fair bit. In commentary last night or it may have been pre-game, he was referred to by one of them as Queensland’s best prop.
Nobody could ever question the guy’s effort.

He’s a different style of prop, I thought it was very evident in the Cowboys game just how much we missed him.
His movement is excellent for a big guy, he’s almost always the 1st or 2nd on a kick chase, he sets the standard for our line speed and he’s always there in cover on line breaks, to suggest he’s lacking mobility and speed is wild.. it’s a really poor take.

He is more a JFH work rate prop more then a AFB or Haas 200mtr running prop
hard when the qld forward pack was getting dominated for him to compete
when he had Tino and fledgler next to him next season it may be different
he has a point of difference with jwh, may and Leniu so I like it

A thread questioning Lindsay's ability. FFS
If a wing/centre makes a break 9 times out of 10 he is the forward chasing them down.
Does things most front rowers just don't do and many backs don't either.
This bloke has as much heart and sole for the Roosters than anyone in the team.

Odd timing. QLD lose the series so let's question Lindsay Collins ability. This time last year he was one of the games best props. Insert footage of Collins out jumping Tedesco and scoring a try. He does things no other prop can do!
So often you will see big forwards have a breather and ball watch whilst the play has moved away from the middle third. Lindsay is always moving and ready to plug a hole if the ball is turned back inside or make a cover tackle which he so often does. He'll walk into the Kangaroos squad. His experience moving beyond this season will be priceless once the Big Dog retires!
