            • Not the end of the world - haven't been at their best tonight but the Storm don't give teams longitude and latitude and don't beat themselves.

It's what they learn from tonight that they take forward to the next game is what is important

A hard run home with most of these teams except for Parramatta in finals contention currently in Round 20 - may well change - can't afford to take any of them easy

32 likely to be the cut off for the 8
              • Sea Eagles - 23 points - 7 games to play pus 1 bye remaining - so 25 points including their 3rd bye
              • Dolphins - 24 points - 8 games to play - no byes remaining
              • Bye
              • Eels - 14 points - 7 games to play - no byes remaining
              • Titans - 18 points - 8 games to play - no byes remaining
              • Raiders - 22 points - 7 games to play - no byes remaining
              • Rabbitohs - 20 points - 7 games to play - no byes remaining

dom young 5 out, 1 on 1 against his opposite number is like a $1.01 bet. I reckon that may actually be the first time in his career that he’s been stopped in that situation

mate we are just making up the numbers no matter what happens to end the regular season.

we simply cannot beat the storm or Penrith. We are several rungs below them. The rest of the comp may be worse than us but we wil still just be cannon fodder in the finals once we meet one of those teams

                        • Our problem is the same proem we’ve had all year. If we don’t get quick play the balls we struggle. If we get em we dominate. Robbo will need to find a solution because you don’t get quick play the balls against the storm and penrith.

Some much hype about us lately. Some favouring us to win the comp. We all love to hear it but let’s get serious for a minute. We have played rubbish sides for the last month. Apart from Bulldogs, the others have all been in contention or are still in contention for the spoon this year. I know, you can only play what’s in front of you and we’ve given them all a decent beating, but let’s be realistic, there are only two other decent teams in this competition and we are yet to beat either.

                            Melbourne.

They’re an excellent footy team. Very robotic and well coached. They don’t give you much. Their no-name players are very solid and get the job done.

Tonight is our chance. Our change to really exert some authority in this competition. Thrashings verses Saints and Tigers don’t win you much credibility but wins away verses Melbourne do. Tonight we have a great opportunity to show our true capabilities. Are we a genuine title contender? Tonight will give us a decent indication.

It’s a miserably cold and windy day here in Melbourne and rain is predicted. I went to the AFL last night and the “feels like” temp was 2 degrees. Going to be cold tonight too. If anyone is here and wants to meet up let me know. Will be at Beer DeLuxe Fed Square with plenty of Roosters supporters prior to kick-off.

                            Kick off 735pm.

                            GO ROOSTERS!
Long way to go to sit through the rubbish they dished up tonight mate.

                            I feel for ya.

                            • It’s time to write the chooks off for this season. We just aren’t in the same league as the top teams who just continue to beat us. It’s a two team race. Storm completely dominated us all night. No excuses.
