Damning combined stat v Storm & Panthers the last 5yrs or so.

Can't blame injuries or bad luck as they both have had the same happen to them also & we still cant beat them.

Fanciful to think anything will change come finals time.

Why cant Robbo find a way?

We didn’t turn up. I still give us a chance but we were really flat and they were ready

Of course we are a chance if we get it right.

But it's only been right once in 20 attempts.

I hate that excuse - they didnt turn up.

This was an absolutely huge game for us to test ourselves and we showed we aren't up for it. Melbourne had so much talent out that we should've beaten them convincingly yet we looked impatient and unwillingly to work hard. Very deflated, this was our chance to build confidence before finals and we blew it.

We made more errors, and missed more tackles tonight. Get back to the basics please lads.

            Spot on.

            Can't stand that excuse either.

So we turn up against the other 15 teams but never seem to against Storm & Panthers.

Players turn up but somebody else doesn't in the big games last few years.

Can Keary & Walker beat the Storm or the Riff to lead this team to a Grand Final let alone win one ?? The fact is on the evidence we've seen it's a resounding no. We will be a different team with JWH & Manu back but you can't confidently say we can beat them. They will also be a much better team with Munster back.

next time we play them it will start 0 - 0 and if we play our footy we'll be a fair chance to beat them

Thank you! We had an off day today, we’re not beating any team if we make 13 errors like we did today. Storm came out firing and we didn’t.

It’s bleak but I’m not too worried. Get manu back (and not have 4v1 key players backing up from a brutal origin) and we can definitely beat them. A bee’s dick away from 2 tries as well.

Only positive tonight was we were below average yet still managed to be in it until the final few minutes.. against a storm team while down on a few troops as well showed up to play and played pretty decently.. better team won on the night but we have a way higher ceiling than them and I expect us to win when it counts.

Percentage wise, we are 5/100 chance. Doesn’t sound fair to me.

We had an 'off day' because a depeleted Melbourne team dominated us and caused 13 errors by applying pressure. We were poor, and imo we are flat track bullies that aren't currently legitimate contenders.

We were never in that match. There was absolutely no way we were ever going to win from the 1st set. We were bashed. Ran sideways. Very simple

Yeah I agree, questionable whether the halves have the game management skills for the big games. Sammy’s low percentage kicks early in the tackle count were a good example of what’s lacking in that area.
