The only time we seem to get close to them is at 0-0.

Then 80min later it's more of the same as in they win the scoreboard.

I have absolutely zero faith & confidence come finals time especially at Storms & Panthers home grounds.

It’s our high risk gameplay which produces many errors. We give top teams plenty of good field position and possession which makes us easy pushovers thus the 1/20.

past performance is no guarantee of future performance so that's nonsense. we're better than what we showed today

we made a lot of bone headed plays today and were still only 1 try down until sammy's little grubber. we can't change what's happened in the past. we've been playing good footy this year and if we revert to type we'll beat them next time

            Depleted is a stretch.

We will be a different team with JWH & Manu back but you can't confidently say we can beat them. They will also be a much better team with Munster back.
At this stage it appears your spot on.

To win the premiership it's likely we'll have to beat them both in either a prelim or GF.

Would love it to be 3 from 20 but I would be then dreaming i think.

Robbo asked about our record against Melbourne and Penrith in the presser and supposedly it's not a mental thing.

                We are deluded.

Wow...5% against the elite sides...even the tigpies would be embarrassed about that.

Doesn't get much better when u realize our finals record since the end of 2019 reads 2 wins out of 7, that's like 28%...and those 2 wins where by 1 point each.

Reminds me of the Rooster period between 1996 thru to 2001...mentally weak when it counts..just making up the numbers.

Has Trobbo destroyed the once tough culture of this club??

He had Bellamy's number in 18 & 19 but since then it's been all Bellamy & chuck in Cleary now.

What can we put it down to since then?

I wouldn't say players as we were/are stacked.
                      Rule changes maybe?

I think it's a guy called Cooper Cronk who was Robbo's saviour.

They were without Munster, Big Nelson, Christian Welsh & X Coates for starters..4 of their best. Definitely depleted but u wouldn't know because Bellamy can coach.

If that were the Roosters it would be a injury crisis.

Yep, Cronk & a great assistant coach called Fitzy.

Fact is, Fitzy has out preformed Trobbo when u consider our roster next to the sharks.

You can't win them all but the Roosters can make a play for the premiership the same as the Atlanta Braves can for another World Series title - Just need to be better at the basics and have Coach Trent Robinson and Manager Brian Snitker and team install the belief they can

A 63% completion rate will cruel your chances though in any game no matter who you play

And that is why we shouldn’t be breaking the bank or paying a ransom for Walker. He’s a mile off leading us to the promised land & he was terrible tonight, especially when they were a man down. Love it when it works, but too often he’s a score at all costs, or try a 1/10 play when we should be getting to the end of sets.

The Roosters beat the Sharks in a finals match last year
