  • Sam Walker is not a Million dollar Player

Sam Walker once again proves he is no where near a Million dollar player. We need a halfback, we have needed a halfback for a very long time.
Last night once again there was no organiser and consequently we had the same thing we have seen the last 4 years where other players step up and think they are the halfback.
All good, we have Chad next year.

I don't think anyone really thinks he is, just that he might develop into a million dollar player eventually. He's only in his 4th year and is just 22 years old, it took even Nathan Cleary 5 seasons to steer Penrith to a grand final and 6 for him to win it and that's with one of the greatest teams in history, who knows what the future holds for Sam? As it stands we as a team are in 4th place and Walker is a big part of that.

Gve him something to work with...big tough aggressive forwards going forward, big tough aggressive centres who can tackle and bust open defences...not forwards playing centre.
Give him a team that can catch bombs, not drop them.
He must be kept, at any reasonable cost...if it takes $1m a season, then so be it.

He has stipoed running at the line ages ago..thats his biggest problem at the moment.
Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe

This is it. He’s the best young half in the game by a mile. If we don’t want to pay him $1m there would be close to 13-14 clubs that will. And then what? See how Sandon goes or another 19yo?

Walker will win us a comp. Might not be this year but it also might as well.

At his age he is the best or close to it half in the game, if we don’t give him a million there are plenty of other teams that will. If he goes elsewhere who are we replacing him with as anyone else is locked up long term or close to retirement.

We loose a game and all of a sudden posters on here want to sack everyone or are blaming the refs, it’s footy and players will have a bad game or the team will be outplayed. Penrith have been the form team for a few years and I doubt their fans want everyone sacked after they don’t get a win.

Sam must be locked up long term as long as he isn’t after stupid money and a million a season isn’t stupid money for a player like him.

i'm totally still backing him. we made some dumb errors last night but that last minute grubber when we were on our line wasn't one of them. desperate situations require desperate measures. i like that he's always looking for a path to victory

This will go down as one of the dumbest posts ever made.

If Walker is worth a million (probably would be in todays market) then Hughes is worth 2 or 3! Looks dangerous every time he touches the ball!

Why didn't you tell us this prior to the bye?

He's up there as one of the best players in the game. No Munster no worries.

When Sam is his age he'll be just as good or even better.
