    Hughes $2.5 mill
    DCE $2.2 mill
    Moses $2 mill
    Hunt $1.5 mill
    Reynolds $1.5 mill
    Hynes $1.3 mill
    Hastings $800k
    Sezer. $800k
    Katoa $800k
    Townsend $800k
    Hutchinson $140k.

Townsend is a absolute bargain at $300k.
I can see why you think we should pay a dud prop from the West Togers 900k when you value Sezer, Hastings, Townsend and Sezer at $800k lol......

What more did you want him to do tonight? His kicking and passing was spot on, he defended strongly, his decision making was top drawer. What did he do that put the game in danger?

Not because of poor game management or control in attack though… we also scored 40 points and controlled field position for the large majority of the game.

The reason we almost lost the game was because of some horrendous defensive efforts.

Sam Walker is our halfback, not the defensive coach.

We signed his 16 year old brother on a 2 year contract a couple of months ago- wouldn't it be great to see them play together in a couple of years.

Nick will sign him long term. He will be set up for life

I agree, Walker’s game management was quite sound tonight and his individual game was next level. Keary took more of a backseat in attack tonight and we were much better for it. Stupid errors and bad defensive reads were our issue. Bugger all to do with Walker.
Is he as good as Cleary? Not yet, but he’s closing in at a great rate of knots. He runs rings around Clearly at the same age though and could well end up being the better player in the long run.

Sam is worth as much as we can afford.

We need to sign him long term yesterday. He was everywhere last night and was the best player on ground by a country mile. Without him we get beaten soundly.

Last night once again there was no organiser and consequently we had the same thing we have seen the last 4 years where other players step up and think they are the halfback.
All good, we have Chad next year.

The Chooks won't overextend until he performs against the top teams in the finals series.

It’s concerning that this is taking so long have we tabled a 1.8mil deal or are the brains trust waiting until finals series is over and these wankers on nrl 360 are just trying to destabilise our club with yet more rubbish articles?

I don't think they have a clue where the negotiations are at.

Sam has the upper hand in the negotiations as I don't think Townsend is a backup in 2026

always going to be a lot of noise until he signs. you'd figure we've still got the inside running

Crawley ffs. Can't believe he still has a job.
We know how he got his job. Reminds me of these brothers on X Factor and the Mum must have said to Steve take your brother Paul with you.
