a few surprises there. early days so ot sure who will run out but the biggest change is kelleher demoted from 7. jos is definitely an nrlw player but she wouldn't be pushing to be picked at origin level in the 7 jersey so maybe there's a better option. not sure what fressard's experience is ... the exciting selection was bremner on the extended bench. obviously there's a concern of rushing her but she's a champion and why not just throw her in? time will tell.
another interesting pick was nasio at 13. i thought kernick was great in the middle but if nasio's up to the job then so much the better.
if bremner doesn't play i like kelly at the back. hard to win games without a top grade number 1 and the more she has her hands on the ball the better.

I don't know much about the NRLW - and our Rooster girls. But I enjoy watching it.

        GO ROOSTER GIRLS.

Amber Hall's been selected in the Central Coast Roosters Harvey Norman Women's Premiership team for this weeks game vs Newcastle Knight played next Monday.

That is a strange one...no pun intended. I'm guessing it's to get her a bit of fatch mitness. As the NRLW is a compressed timeline comp you need to pick a squad that's ready to roll from the jump.

Ambers returning from a lisfranc injury which required a couple of operations so short of a gallop in racing terms.

Sam Bremner actually won the fitness test they do (1.2kms) the last week before Rnd 1 (having done the same test in Week 1 of pre-season), after just coming back to training a few days earlier. I'm sure she could play tomorrow if she still has her timing.

Disappointed that it's not a 5 team final series this season and still a 4 team cut throat one - 2 winners through to the GF.

12 teams in 2025 surely means a top 5 finals series.

Interesting reading how the NRLW players want to play more games 16 to 22 before any new teams are added.

Previous seasons the NSW Team based NRLW players would play in the Harvey Norman Women's Premiership - 10 or 11 games and 2 finals games if their team played in the GF - Add 9 NRLW games and 2 finals if their team played in the GF - 23 to 24 games.

Extra rounds of course will mean the NRLW players will have to be compensated and become full time professional players.

yeah, going from a 6 team comp with 4 teams making the semis to a 10 team comp with 4 teams making the semis makes it hard ...
so, 24 hours out and the team is 1-17 but bremner is still in the 19 ...

When's that Liz Frank going at actually play? Seems always injured...waste of bloody money.
