    ROOSTERS SQUAD v SEA EAGLES

    Round 21 - Saturday 27th July, 7:35pm
    Allianz Stadium, Sydney

Crap. That's last weeks summary. I can't articulate how disappointed I was watching last weeks game. That was an opportunity lost. I won't dwell on it ... I'm still filthy.

Manly have been bog average. We are back at Allianz, and badly need to pick ourselves up after that debacle. I'm expecting us to do just that. We owe them for Round 2. Let's make sure we do the job in our own backyard.

No big team changes. Collins starting, with Leniu this week, while May & Whyte revert to the bench. Otherwise unchanged, except in execution (I hope).

Still missing Jazz, Manu & Billy Smith. Consecutive games without our top 17: 118

I was very disappointed heading down to melbourne last week to watch the game - against we are getting called flat track bullies and we will until finals now
we owe manly after our round 2 poor performance
need to control turbo and their quick backline
hopefully Angus runs over DCE a few times and wouldn’t mind seeing Wong get a crack over Nat butch
May be close but hope we post a statement this weekend

There are no statements to be made against lesser opposition. The only way we can make a statement now is in September, but we do have to keep winning until then.

I was in Melbourne last Saturday night as well. I sat up high to escape the rain. $85 for a gold seat = rip off. Looking down, our defense was HORRIBLE. They opened us up twice in the first 7 minutes, terrible. Radley, Young, Keary, Walker and Sitilli were poor. Every time Keary passed to Angus, there were 2 to 3 Storm players waiting.

        Bellamey knows his *hit.

I am off our coach. Mr 20 to 1. Not good enough.

        Wong ??

Surely Sitilli in the centres and Watson at 13 is not going to happen this week. Robinson was shown last week that this doesn't work against real teams.

When is Brandon Smith going to turn it on. When he played for the Storm he really stood out as a very good footballer.

Anyway - fingers crossed we get the job done this Saturday night.

        GO ROOSTERS.

no easy games in the nrl and manly are coming off a good win. this isn't a gimme. still, we've been playing well and will be looking to show we're still a serious footy team

We can tell you are filthy Waylander, your writeup lacks its usual oomph

And don't underrate Manly, They were pretty hot last week. Were my smokey to win it this year before a ball was kicked in anger.

                Shit.

We seem to get this arsehat every 2nd week.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

I'm feeling deflated after last round. Hopefully we can turn things around.

I think Jennings will take Sitili’s place

Thankfully I missed last week’s debacle due work commitment. I was really confident going into the match and still can’t understand how they have the wood on us.
I am heading down from the Sunshine Coast to watch this one live. Very worried about this game. A lost opportunity last week and a loss this week will see us out of the 4.

Do we get Klown more than any other team?

                          This is a 50/50 game.
                          Manly are 1 point behind us, 4th v 5th.
Manly always like Melbourne turn up when playing the Chooks they beat us 21-14 in rd 2 then they beat Penrith 32-18 in rd 5 then they beat Melbourne 26-20 in rd 12.
                          Im not confindent at all.
DCE is still the best halfback in the comp
Turbo is lethal on his day.
They dont have all big name players in the forwards but neither did Melbourne last week.
                          Go the Roosters.

I was confident before last week’s game but I think I was getting carried away and believing the hype. Now I feel deflated and nervous for not only this week but the season.

That being said I really hope we use last week’s diabolical performance as motivation to get things back on track. Hopefully Robbo is right and we can dominate the competition from here on in.

Surely Sitili is pulled before kick off and replaced with Jennings or King.
