I felt the last game that we were not near them and Hughes was so dangerous yet it was only 4 tries to 2 ( fourth try came from chasing points very late)..in Rd 7 I thought we were all over them in the middle but just couldn't score..they got out of it with a late try making it 3 tries to 2)...then last semi they got the last minute try in another 3 tries to 2 match.
So we do need to improve and to me much falls on the halves here... but we are close..I don't see our halve matching Hughes and Munster though.. and we probably do have the 4th best halves pairing in the comp and have been that way since Cronk retired.....which reflects our results against the teams with the best (Penrith/Storm) . I rate DCE and Brookes better .... be a good test this weekend!!!

Yeah agree with all that. Getting some centres back will make a big difference too. Manu/Young will give the storm a bit more to think about than Stiliti/Young!

According to Robbo there is a chance Manu gets cleared to return next week and he has started non contact touch football training with the team over recent days.

Considering we have the bye the following week, i don’t think we’ll see him before that.

Considering we need to keep winning to lock down a top four spot, I think we’ll see him back as soon as possible. Don’t seen what the bye has to do with it.
