For those interested to see how our very own Marky Mark goes in the 7’s Rugby at the olympics Australia’s first match is tonight.
Bit late for some but I’m interested to see how he goes.

Wednesday, July 24, 11:30pm: Australia vs Samoa
Thursday, July 25, 3am: Australia vs Kenya
Thursday, July 25, 10:30pm: Australia vs Argentina

3 games in less than 24 hours.

Pretty sure they award the medals to the winner before the opening ceremony. One of those sports that start and finish before the games officially begin.

Obviously means that Mark Mark could be training with the squad from next week but more than likely following week.

If no Rugby there would be no Rugby League or NFL - As they were games that came from Rugby

If no Rounders there would be no Baseball- People do question still if Abner Doubleday a Union Major in the American Civil War (1861-65) Invented Baseball when they look at the way the British Game of Rounders was played

If no Gaelic football there would be no AFL

If no Cricket there would be no Football or Rugby as these were games invented to keep Cricketers fit in the Winter

Rugby 7s medal matches are on Sunday morning our time which I believe is a day or two after the opening ceremony. I've been enjoying the 7s, has been good.
