I was checking the times and days of all of our upcoming rounds until Round 20, and i noticed something very strange
In the next 9 rounds, we play 7 of them (2 byes). And ALL seven of those games are either a Sunday 3:00 or a Monday 7:00 (4 Sundays, 3 Mondays). Why?

The current broadcast deal allows the broadcasters to choose the time slots they want for each match every round, so that's just how the times played out as they were picking them, it's far from an optimal system for fans who want to attend matches.

We could be backing up on a Friday after a Monday game...

at least we are not backing up on a friday or saturday night after a monday night game

I think it is the best scenario.

Sunday games are the best, Monday nights are great too especially having Foxsports.
My wife hates it because she has to go & watch Home & Away in our bedroom.
