Anyone notice Melby were offside and had two 6A against them last night in the first 3 minutes. I don’t think we had that at all last week. Always wondered how a team goes from such do gooders one week to being penalised in the next week.

A win against Manly tonight will be a good win but it's far from a given. I thought hoping that we come out of the sheds with attitude and intent was a thing of the past but again, the way we started last week was unforgivable. Come out with defensive intent and be prepared to grind rather than look for cheap or easy options and the rest will come.

Two pretty evenly matched teams. If we had JWH, I would be more confident as we should have an edge in the forwards. Missed him bigtime last week.

We missed the jump last week, and the other mob had more intent and purpose. It happens. We need to be that team tonight and get Manly on the back foot, and go the distance.

We can beat Manly but they have clever players who can outsmart us while most of our players are strong and powerful but very dumb. So it’s dumb vs clever. Walker, Keary and Teddy do have some idea how to play clever footy. Collins and Leniu are both very good too. But the dumb players like Dom, Sitili, Suuali & Co often screw up . So we win if we don’t screw up too much but Manly have some very clever players who know how to play the game and will exploit our stuff ups.

What a difference it makes to Melbourne’s performance when they are refereed fairly as they were in the 1st half last night.

Is there anyone more annoying in the NRL than that prick Harry Grant? He regularly feigns injury, he whinges to the ref for a penalty in almost every tackle, he’s always offside, he’s always lying in the ruck or interfering with the tackled player, has zero respect for the refs and he thinks his shit doesn’t stink (mate, the Dragons halfback is a better 9 than you’ll ever be). I feel better now.
