When Keary is turning over ball early in the set by running reckless short side plays and Brandon Smith is continually kicking mid tackle count I can’t agree.

I was getting moist after the first 25 minutes. Then they lapsed into their standard shit-show and nearly blew it.

Was it Young who was put on report for a high tackle yet not more than 3 minutes later Keary gets kneed in the back of the head and predictably KKKlown missed it. As is usual, we lost the penalty count again.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

Apparently we’ve lost the last 13 penalty counts in a row, what a joke!

Any other team that totally dominates another in the first quarter of play, is almost guaranteed to have got there by virtue of drawing penalties and restarts from the ref. We got 1 penalty in the 1st half, and that was after 4 minutes.

Every single bloody week we seem to be battling against 14 players. It's even worse when KKKlown is in charge.

Brandon must’ve had 4 or 5 kicks out of dummy half that offered absolutely nothing tonight. There was one on 2nd tackle, in the middle of a 7 tackle set. Horrendous plays, got to let Walker play out the set and get the kick he wants away.
Angus alluded to this when interviewed after the game, said something along the lines of 'Brandon kicking on 3rd tackle after we've defended our goal line for 15 tackles in a row'

And great to see Lindsay give Keary a massive spray after his second intercept pass. Seriously how does a guy with 200+ FG games and 3 premierships play like such a muppet? Especially as Lindsay did so much cleanup in defence to win the ball back for us. (As Trent said in the presser, Lindsay was our second fullback out there tonight with some of the clean up that he did).

As Cronk said after the game the first play from Keary was on as Toops was unmarked (Keary just threw a really sh1t pass straight to the Manly player) but the second one wasn't on and he should have just been patient and helped ice the game.

                Yep, nailed it.

Even Angus made mention of it in his post match interview. I can only assume Robbo said if you get a good look at a 40/20, take it.
problem is it was poor execution and not at the right time.

reckon his kicking license might be revoked next game.

Brandon Smith did his best Jake Friend impersonation with some of those kicks.

Not saying I agree with the plays, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was a game plan kick early to keep turning Manlys unmobile pack around.

Plus that was the least of my worries tbh.

Yes and scary when they are both on around $800k and won premierships - let’s hope robbo and the boys give them a good ego check this week (was not first grade standard at all)
young needs some work while suaali needs to stop the flick pass - he isn’t Joey Manu

seems To be a theme this year having a fast start then falling away

                          [SKIPPER TO GILLIGAN] Keeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrryyyyyyy yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!
How many times are you going to try Harbour Bridge passes when a) It's not the time for it and b) they are just not on!!
We need Verrills back and we need Matt Burton.

Other than that, they scored some great tries and defended well in the second half. Fix up the stupidity and they may be a chance.

And he did that after they'd been defending their line for a number of sets. They were crap kicks that just put them defending in their own half early on again.

I think I aged 20 years watching that game tonight.

Teddy was brilliant... what a player. Jenko and Toups turned back time and that was so good to see. I thought Suaalii was really good even with a couple of errors (Young should have caught his pass).

Crichton, Collins and Rads were immense and their effort was huge... thanks boys. Sammy has the keys to the car but his dad (Keary) obviously doest want him to clock up too many miles. His running game tonight , Sammy, was spot on.

For some reason May, Whyte and Butcher got owned last week and this. Spencer was a bit better. Sitilli seems lost. It seems that the agro is gone when JWH is not in the ranks.

Brandon and Keary need to be seated in the corner with a couple of pointy hats in front of a mirror. That was absolute rubbish from the both of them. They both need to be dropped next week for an ego and reality check. I think its was Rads who said last night post game that both Collins and Gus gave Keary a huge serve.

Watson was ok but missed a couple of tackles and was not that impactful. Hopefully it was one bad night.

As for that ass-klien ; he is so blatant in his game manipulation. The Turbo penalty where he was tackled by Rad was insane. It should have been a penalty to us for obstruction and it ends up with Radley on report. Disgraceful. Suaalii gets headhunted and only a penalty.... Jared or Rads would have been sent to Alcatraz on life sentences.

If the MRC charges either Rads or Jenko with suspension, we should fight the charges to show up the mockery that is the MRC.

Sandon needs to come in next week for either Keary or Cheese.

Rather be in Coach Robinson's shoes than Manager Brian Snitker's at the current moment.
I think everyone is happy that we won. We are also happy to be in third place.

But it's only natural to comment on aspects of the game. One of them is the officiating of the game. We haven't won a penalty count since round five. Just let that sink in for a moment.
