  • Not sure this team has the discipline or patience to win a premiership

Tonight didn't give me any boost in confidence that this team can play the patient and disciplined football it will take to get past the Panthers and Storm in the finals.

Third on the ladder is about where we really are. We're better than most but there is something not quite right if we are to be number one.

Not a team issue, there’s a couple of individuals playing some selfish footy out there tonight.

We look good when Sam Walker is allowed to control the team.

Penrith will obliterate us in week 1. This team cannot build pressure, and refuse to play for 80 minutes. Just ridiculous. So many silly errors, penalties, defensive lapses. We might be third, but it’s one of the worst third place sides of all time.

I know finals is a different game the comp starts again but I totally agree better teams trouble us, Keary gifted them 18 points were all three intercepts from him?

Cannot play a long game why doesn’t this team understand how to construct a game start to finish Keary needs to keep his hands off the ball and let Sam ice games.

Too many dumb plays totally unnecessary we should have won by 20 not 4 but yet again we try to score off every play and fancy schmancy bullshit that doesn’t win you comps.

          We’re not serious.

I have been saying that all year. We try to score at every opportunity regardless of the situation. No game management, no risk calculation.

Keary was pathetic last week with his high-risk offload on our own 10m line that gifted Storm the ball. He has outdone himself this week. Walker was dumped for much less last year.

Young, Sitili, Nat Butcher, Keary and the cheese can fark off right now. What a bunch of dead set losers we have in that group.

Fletch they are a mess man. You can't blame the coach for that.

22 nil was FANTASTIC. But to nearly lose, after they lost so many players to injuries. 3 intercepts = AWFUL.

Conceding 50 plus points in 2 weeks is HORRIFIC.

                Roosters get your *hit together.

Zero game management in that second half. Thankfully our D was on!

This game looked like the Roosters of the last few years to me. I think this year, we've mostly been a lot better in this regard and have been relatively ruthless.

The, almost, lack of respect for Manly was borderline nauseating. We earn the right to play well, pile on the points, and then instead of earning it again we just try to score off every play. Astrociously poor game management on multiple occassions, and good lord Young gives me heart palpitations. Jennings was giving him an absolute serve after the game.

Was actually nice hearing Spencer say “we need to check our ego’s”

                      spot on Spence.

                        That 2nd half lol.....

Can we beat the Storm & Panthers in knock out finals footy ?

A lot would have to go right for us & also hope they are off their game to have a chance imo.

There's a lack of leadership from players like Keary and Teddy.

Cronk had half the talent but twice as many brains.

Yep. Pretty much no lead is safe in this version of footy. Especially with a ref like Klein who is gagging to give 5th tackle penalties for shit like Turbo sprinting into players’ shoulders. On top of that throwing moronic intercepts to give away three tries had me wanting to headbutt my tv
