We won't know if the plan was to play Isabelle Kelly at 5/8 , Tarryn Aiken at 7 and Jocelyn Kelleher as 14 - Shawden Burton I assume would have been the 14 if not ruled out for the season with a torn hamstring.

I like Isabelle in the Centres with Tarryn Aiken as 5/8 and Jocelyn Kelleher as the 7 - Coach Strange wants Tarryn Aiken to run he team - I see Tarryn as a running 5/8 and not an organising 7.

Have to see how it goes.

Not a fan of Strange staying in the centres her lack of acceleration with ball in hand was really costly against the Knights.

strangey said in his presser after last game that baxter was going to be 5/8 so don't know how that develops with bremner apparently fit to play. either way, having bremner in the team is a plus and given time could be a big plus. kelleher was great at dh and i don't have a problem with aiken at 7 and a running 6, although kelleher at 7 is an option.
excited to see how nasio develops - she looks very comfortable on a footy field. good to see hall thereabouts

Yes, Coach Strange did say that Corban was training at 5/8. Not sure who he had in mind for fullback—Jayme Fressard or Brydie Parker? Shannon Rose, who has had a really rough trot injury-wise, would have been another option—back this week in the Women's Harvey Norman Premiership.

Coach Strange should talk to ex-Central Coast Roosters player Faith Nathan, whom he had a bit to do with about a comeback to the league in 2025. Faith is super quick—playing 7's rugby for the Australian Women's team—tournaments and in the current Olympics—maybe more money in 7's rugby, and of course the travel around the world to play in the world tournaments would be a draw card as well.

24 hours out and team is 1-17 so looks like bremner's playing. she's a champion but must be a bit nervous. it's only a month since she swapped the ugg boots for the footy boots. good luck to her.
hall in the 19 but that might be because we don't have 19 fit players.
important game this one - two fancied teams but a loss and either side will be up against it to qualify for the finals. we had a disrupted preparation for last week but still showed a lot and should be very competitive today

John Strange has finalised his side to take on the Brisbane Broncos at Allianz Stadium.

One change has been made to the interchange bench, with Amber Hall set to take the place of Eliza Lopamaua.

Tiana Davison remains the 18th person.

Ugly first half from the girls so far really struggling to find any rhythm with the ball.

Much better last 3 minutes of the half power football rolling over the top of the Broncos.

boy did we need that aiken try. before that there was a lot to like but we weren't making the most of our chances. those couple of tries should settle them down a bit.

A very clunky game from the Roosters following on from last week and a work in progress with new combos and new players - 2 converted tries in the last few minutes of the first half have helped the cause

30 minutes of good footy won the game but there is a lot of polish required to challenge the better teams in the comp, no idea why but there was so many poor passes and offloads today that went to players who were under pressure and should of not been thrown.

got to be happy with that. yeah, made too many errors but we'll get better. possession really evened up in the second half and the girls defended very well for the most part. early days but we'll give it a shake
