  • Manu charged with grade 1 - Fine only

$1000 fine for a grade 1 careless, suggests even the very handed MRC don’t think he should’ve been sin binned.

Kelley also charged with a grade 1 for his hit on Tupou’s legs early in the game.

      Good news
it was one of the worst sin bins i have seen
      penalty only
you can’t even see if he connects with the head
Hammer should have gone for HIA if he stayed on the ground, that’s the only way to stop players diving
it’s a lottery with what the refs and bunker say now

The problem with that is that it will be abused by all teams except the Roosters for free interchanges of forwards. The only way to stop it is for the bunker to stop reviewing them; if the ref didn’t see it then it didn’t happen. Use the Match Review Committee for punishment after the game if warranted (isn’t that what it’s supposed to be for anyway?).

Every team is guilty of it including us.
Don't know what the solution is, in the old days your team mates would tell you to man up and get and play on where now your mates expect you to stay down and milk it.

Should players be penalised for milking it or automatically be sent for a HIA to try and cut down on it.
If they fail the HIA should the offending player cop 10 minutes or a suspension, every so called solutions opens up a what if.
But milking is wrecking the game

AKA he shouldn't have been binned for the last 10, yet they still take his money? :P

Hammer doesnt stay down last night if he knows he will need to go off for HIA. It would've ended his night with HIA assessments taking around 15minutes.

I think it's a good idea, im sick of seeing milking in the game and the bunker will always review it if players stay down.

If forwards start abusing it for free interchanges then they should introduction a system where you are out for mandatory time frame if you are found to be a repeat offender.

What I saw of the Manu tackle was a glimpse shown by Ch 9 usually they show longer clips but it was contrived just like the matching commentary of a promo game. The 4th consecutive game of interruptions with citings and a suspension.
I love Easts but the game admin and management along with the treatment by the media and NRL has me losing interest.

                    I can't disagree with that.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

Same mickie, but i really don’t know how they can come up with such different decisions on the same tackle.

I can’t believe that call. Then he throws the ball at Sua after holding his leg. Pretty sure a warrior got binned for throwing the ball a few weeks ago.
