Refs can be banned from refereeing NRL games

The NRL has banned Kasey Badger from reffing LOL@Souffs games because Gavin Badger has some sort of coaching arrangement with them.

I suggest Easts employ some relatives of Klein and Sutton so they can be similarly banned from reffing our games.

well the way they've gone this year, the Badge experiment hasnt worked for them !

If she's banned from Souffs games then there's most likely cause for bias so she shouldn't be allowed anywhere near our games.

Like most overpaid 'consultants' I come across... they get hired on the basis that they have 'inside knowledge' (spruiking of which I always find extremely cringeworthy). However organisations rapidly distance themselves from such characters (old mates will stop picking up the phone once they know what's happening) and 'inside knowledge' becomes zilch once a year or two have passed.

Personally I wouldn't bother. Yesterday's refs will know no more than the general public about today's rules/interpretations.

Except the Badgers are involved in bringing the next level of Refs through the system, running the weekly review & training sessions with the NSWRL Refs squad.
