    Storm play Souths(A),panthers(A),dolphins(H)cowboys(A)broncos (A)
pretty tough run home with only 1 home game

    we play, bye,Parra,titans,raiders and Souths.

if we don’t stumble, I think we can finish above the storm if they lose 2games.

Big ask? They're 6 points clear of us so would have to lose 3 of their last 5 after only dropping 4 all season.

IMO jumping the Riff is our one possibility if they lose to Melbourne and one other. The one other is Eels, Faders, Souffs or the Titans though.

If it happens then great but IMO 2nd place is drawing a long bow (and would only result in us getting a home game against the Riff anyway... same team, different stadium).

Sorry, I did think they were on 34 points.

Storm and Panthers both should win all there remaining games bar the game they play each other which I would expect Penrith to win.
What ever happens its almost certain we will need to play them both in the finals, a month ago I was confident we could beat both but if we play the way we have the last few weeks we will get embarrassed.

Penrith drop off we can snatch second spot, dreaming if anyone believes we can finish first.

            It doesnt matter who.
The Roosters will need to beat both Melboure & Penrith to win the comp.

Melb for sure. We would need to capture lightning in a bottle and hope Riff have a shocker to beat them in a big game at this stage.

And yet Pemriff luckily scraped home against the knights.

Did the knights capture lightning in a bottle? Do they wield magical powers?

All we need is a good top 4 finish, a fair go from the refs (that's the most unlikely part given the NRL and the media's hatred/jealousy of us) and a few performances at our potential. We have JWH, Manu, Walker, Tedesco, Radley, Collins, Toups, Angus Crighton amongst others.

Plus the motivation to send out JWH, Manu and Keary as champs.

                It is doable.

                I dare to dream.

I’m with you on this one. Both are very beatable if we play well and it doesn’t need to be a 10/10 performance to get it done either. We just need to respect the ball and don’t give them cheap possession through dumb penalties and 6 agains. With 50/50 possession and a decent completion rate, we don’t give them the opportunity to grind us out of the game. Both Penrith & Melbourne are fairly predictable; you know what you’re going to get in both defence and attack. We have scored so many more points this year because our attack can be totally unpredictable at times and that can be our advantage if we give ourselves the opportunity to use it.

We can beat both, but of course, we can beat ourselves pretty easily as well.

They certainly didn't. It was also a regular season game with a few stars out for the Riff aswell.

Trust me there is nothing more I would like to see than us rolling them in a huge game but at the moment its a dream.

Happy to play both teams as long as we are fit and healthy. Remember last year we almost beat the Storm in Melbourne without Tupou, Suaalii, Manu, Watson and JWH, think it was a questionable referee decision that lead to the Storm picking up the victory as well, odds are we win that game if fully fit.

In Season 2024 not only is it unlikely that we'd be so injury prone but also Jaxson Paulo is replaced by Dom Young, Spencer Leniu replaces Fletcher Baker and Angus Crichton is in the form of his life, I'd be quietly confident against the Storm and as for Penrith, they've been very good this year but not the powerhouse they've been in previous years, Roosters could definitely be competitive with them.

I think our toughest match (before finals) will against you know who,
They have nothing left to play for, except wreck havoc on us.
If we survive that without the usual suspects sent off and minimal injury, there is no reason we cannot put both Storm and Panthers to the sword. Both those sides would be expecting a seamless run to the finals, all the pressure is on them. We would be deadset wanting a winning send off to those leaving, no more so than JWH.

Huge game for the Big Dog and Robbo!

I'd rest JWH if our top 4 position is secured.

I'd rest almost everyone if we have top 4 set

Robbo confirmed this week on Roosters Radio that Jenko & Napa will be retiring after this year so would be good to send them out one more time....

Nothing to do with Melbourne or Penrith but what about the atmosphere at the Dragons Dogs game. Unreal
