  • Return of the Belmore Mob

Have to say news of the Dogs faithful turning on the poor old Raiders drummer stirring something in Bansai.

Remember them in the early 2000s?

    Diabolical.

There was a riot at the SFS that was pretty nuts.

    Proper grubs!

You don’t understand what they were actually trying to do lol, in Lebanese tradition you lift a guy on your shoulders while he plays the drum this is what they were trying to do. It happens at all our weddings/celebrations. That poor dogs supporter wasn’t trying to tackle or get him to the floor. These young boys wanted to celebrate with him lol.

Who could forget those years. God help you travelling at night in a train after a match against them.

Love it!!! I'm no Doggies fans but seeing a bunch of Lebbos with drums supporting El Masri (or the Newtown Jets) is next level.

Wish we had a flash mob of Lebbos with drums supporting Easts....

Remember the days when El Masri looked like an athlete and Peter Dutton looked like a 12 year old?

Sure, with one guy was fully flipping him off - and the other guy pulled his leg from behind.. while 20 guys taunting him. Real friendly stuff..

Look even IF that was the case, we are not in some third world country - you don't just touch someone without his consent, no matter what your intentions are.
The Canberra guy spoke out saying that he was hit on the head, getting tackled, and clearly upset with the whole situation.

There are no excuses for this behaviour.

This is a good reason we are better off when the Bulldogs are just making up the numbers.

I’m a passionate Chooks fan & can’t stand 2 teams the Rabbitohs & Dogs, but seriously man if you think flipping the bird is the worst crime in history & another guy trying to carry another on his shoulders for a laugh then try go to a Sharks game as a opposing supporter those blokes are rubbish i can tell you that especially with the amount of booze they drink. 14-16yr old doggie fans trying to have innocent fun that’s all it was.

Na mate, never said it was the worst crime in history - but I don't agree with your statement that these guys are just trying to celebrate with him, and that makes it fine.

I told you, doesn't matter what the intent is - you can't just grab someone just like that, that is harassment. Did it look like he enjoyed it?
Let's give another example - If some guy suddenly come around and kiss you straight on your lips, or carry your wife on their shoulder despite your wife's objection, just because it's fine in their culture.. would you suddenly be ok with it?
