I would like to think that Moses is a contingency plan if Walker doesn't extend. I can't imagine we will have both.

In My opinion Moses is 29 and won nothin until this year's origin . Also he wouldn't compliment walker , I'd rather a robust 5/8 that is a noted defender to partner walker .

I really don;t understand the lack of confidence in Walker and Smith.
It has taken years for Walker to get where he is , are we willing to start again with a rookie 5/8 . I hope not

If this was true, which it isn’t because James Hooper is fraudulent scum, then I’d be pleased. Just behind Cleary, also has a big boot and that would be a godsend. Only issue is how he would gel with Walker
          EASTS TO WIN!

I’m also concerned with this,it’s a bit like starting all over again..

Hopefully Townsend isn’t the guy we are hoping to fill the void until Sandon is ready to start at 6 on a week to week basis!

Assuming for argument's sake there's something to the rumour, I wonder whether the club would consult with Sam directly about his thoughts on having Moses as a partner?

Also on Sam, his stocks are rising all the time. From his point of view you'd think there's little to be gained by locking in with us before November. By that time, if by chance he leads us to a premiership, we'll literally have to pay him whatever he wants to keep him.

That could be a double edge sword, if by chance he does lead us to a premiership that might be enough for him to leave Sydney & return home to the Broncos on a massive contract & try then to win a comp with them,

I wonder if he hasn't forgotten how the Broncos treated him. He's always loved Easts and I personally can't see him playing for another club.

I dont think players think like that.
If he achieved everything he wanted to achieve in Sydney & then had the chance to be with his family & get paid alot of money to play for the Bronx I dont think it would worry him but I hope he stays at the Chooks.
His younger brother is also signed to the Chooks.

I remember Slammin' Sam's tackle on Jason Ryles—dumped him on his head—Ryles gets up all wobbly and plays the ball the wrong way—facing his try line instead of the Roosters.

Heavy rain and even hail during the game as well.

Lots of leave our ball kid/ball boy alone from the Roosters crowd, as Slammin' Sam was certainly not a tall fellow.

Unlike most people here I hoping this is all Bullshit, I can’t think of a player I dislike more than Moses, A divisive player if there ever was one , I remember during COVID times when football was being played in Brisbane there was a lot of unhappiness in the Eels camp with Moses being a Prima Donna demanding a suite compared to the other players who had to share.
As well as that he is a serial actor on the field going out of his way milking penalties in the worst possible way even resorting to feigning injury and running into opposing defenders deliberately to gain a penalties or having tries overturned…
I can’t think of a worse player Robbo would want at the Club…So un Rooster of a player .

Fans say they would never leave a club if they played for them.
Players generally don't think that way, it's just a job in which most last 10 years at maximum.

I like working for the company I am employed for but if the opposition offers me a decent salary increase or something close to what I'm on but closer to home or family I would seriously think about changing employers.

I hope we don't sign him, Moses and Gutho are the two biggest sooks in the game waving their arms about like ducks after every tackle.
I can't see Parra letting him go anyway, a contract is a contract, if he was playing crap and the club wanted to cut him he would be standing behind it saying I'm signed for X years and its needs to be honoured.
