Met him on a origin cruise from Sydney to Brisbane about 10 years ago . Wonderful bloke and tells a great story . Ps we won the game as well

Did he referee the 1996 game against Broncos which was an 8-0 penalty count in our favour. Junee scored that memorable try to level the scores. Then Andrew Gee was penalised right at the death in front of the posts with Cleary kicking the penalty goal to win us the game
