Why no Lomax for Roosters?

We wanted Lomax and he wanted to come to us.

The issue was that Lomax fancies himself as a boxer and wanted to pursue boxing whilst still playing footy. Roosters said no to this and Saints wouldn’t let him box either. He didn’t want to leave Saints due to his positional switch, simply not true.

Enter desperate Parramatta who are infamous for their ridiculous clauses in contracts. They didn’t have a problem with him boxing so this is why he signed there. I hope he can box cause he won’t be winning too often at Parra.

I wasn't a big lomax fan till after this years origin. Unfortunately for Zac we are in the market for footballers not boxers .

Hopefully for Nomax he has more of the Gallen type success as a boxer than the TPJ.

He is great on the wing but can definitely handle centre too. Experienced now and a competent goal kicker to back up Walker. I reckon he’d thrive at a decent club.

I would sign him, he has a lot of talent and ticker. Lost a little bit of pace but a much better player now than he was.......

Defensively he used to be hot and cold (like a lot of young centres) but this year he has really stepped up that side of his game......I still dont think we have seen the best of him yet, he is a proper beast, who would thrive at a strong club like ours......plus he can kick goals...

I am sure he and Spencer would kiss and make up too lol,,,,,,

My only reservation, would be would he adapt to the Sydney life.....?

Good player who will only get better. Would take him over Cobbo for sure.

Is this right as Joseph Manu hadn't made a decision on his future and Luke Keary was re-signed - Lomax signed with Parramatta in late April before Manu made his decision and Keary announced his retirement.

One figures that Joseph Suaalii's money was used to sign Mark Nawaqanitawase as well.
