I would say that is the reason Tupou was extended.

Lomax is having a great season, and I think we would have gotten him for a reduced price as the Dragon's would have kicked in, but we don't want clauses in any contracts.

I think he wanted 850+ and seems to be hot and cold at that price range. Still question marks on his best position and attitude at times.

I like him as a player though.

You would think it would be the last thing you would want to do. Not sure of his record of concussions in league, but if you don't have one, why start one by boxing?

That might have been the case 10 years ago but wingers are actually very valuable now, they take majority of the tough carries to help out the forwards for the entire match. They are actually more valuable then Centres these days.

Maybe it was because his ex is also employed by the club? It would be somewhat awkward.

The Storm are winning the comp. Xavier Coates is on $450k a year. I'd imagine that Will Warbrick who's their other winger would be on less.

Do you honestly think that Toops and Young are on $800k a year?

It’s purely because Wingers don’t get the credit they deserve.

If we think about it differently and look at how much work they do and how it positively impacts their team during game day than perhaps a winger like Toops is worth $650k. I never quoted $800K.
You said NO winger is worth over $600k.

I said that you shouldn't pay anymore than $600k a year for a winger. The Storm are winning the comp with wingers that are on less than $500k each a year . That extra money is better spent on spine positions or quality strike centres. Good wingers are a dime a dozen hence why their average salary is the lowest.

Give all wingers $2 million each if there was no salary cap but unfortunately that's not how it works.

Neither is anything else Latrell does but everything he does always gets on the Chookpen.
