  • Senior Representative Teamlists

The Sydney Roosters Senior Representative sides have been announced for this weekend’s matches.

The NSW Cup team returns to the field after a bye and are hoping to continue their recent form which has resulted in consecutive wins scoring 58 or more points.

The match on Sunday against the Bulldogs will see former Australian rugby union international and 2024 Paris Olympian, Mark Nawaqanitawase, make his professional rugby league debut, on the wing, for the Roosters NSW Cup team.

He is one of three backline changes, made by Coach Brett Morris, from the last match, with Ethan King (centre) and Sandon Smith (half back), who missed the previous game due to NRL duties in Perth, and Nawaqanitawase coming into the side for Ethan Clark-Wood, Robert Toia and Hugo Savala.

Sydney Roosters NSW Cup , Central Coast Roosters Harvey Norman NSW Women's Premiership and Sydney Roosters Jersey Flegg teams all play the Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs

I'm wondering if Toia might be a sneaky chance of making his NRL debut this weekend. If Young's hamstring/groin or whatever it was is giving him some grief then Sua'a'lii may move to the wing and Toia come into the side next to Toups. I just find it strange that he would be dropped all together from the NSW Cup team but is named in the NRL squad

He won’t be dropped from nsw cup
Sometimes they just don’t name the full teams and changes happen during week when players become available or unavailable
he will either come up to first grade if young is ruled out or come back and be named in res grade for Sunday along with Wong
nsw cup side changes a lot fron the start of the week to gameday
