It's a shame this has happened this year. Their season has been a shambles anyway. Would have been much more beneficial if this happened under Bennett.

Brandon Smith got a fine and a one-game suspension for doing the same thing as Latrell so I think he should get the same punishment.

Flanno got 4 weeks for biting somebody. Meanwhile:

- Leniu got 8 weeks because somebody (who's the same colour as him) pulled the race card under circumstances where the aggrieved party first called him a coconut, to which Leniu responded with something like 'STFU ya monkey!!!'

- Sua'ali'i, Young, Manu, Pauga, Jennings and JWH have all received ~3-5 weeks this season for careless high contact (often with mitigating circumstances)... excluding time spent on the sideline due to send-offs (and $$$ fines being paid).

- Every week there are examples of high contact either being ignored or resulting in a free kick being awarded as the sole punishment.

Great to know you can do drugs and bite people but if you're a Roosters player and a cat falls into a tackle or objects to your rebuttal of their own racial slur then you're farkin gaaaaawn.

Agree totally. Latrell was up there doing volunteer work promoting the game and the local talent. And because some nameless dog betrays him all that goes out the window for this to become the sole focus.

I don't really care for what he does in his free time so long as he's not harming anyone else. Do you.

But when do we talk about the fact that he played 4yrs/96 games for us totalling ~$2m in wages @ $21k per game.

He's been at Souths for 5yrs now, played 75 games at a cost of ~$5m @ $66k per game.

I wonder if there is a more expensive player per game over the past 5 yrs?
