Can’t see Souths cutting him before Bennett arrives but if they do what’s the chance of “ the former Roosters star” returning home?

Of course he’d have to play centre and on reduced money but his injury problems could all disappear with the reduced work load.

Change of scenery back to some familiar territory may also change his attitude.

Of course they won't rip up his contract just sensationalism from Buzz Rothfield but I definitely think they are going to try and reign in all his nonsense.

I had Latrell picked to be a modern day Ewan McGrady for a period.

It's a bit surprising we've seen him kick on for far longer than anticipated.

Just about anyone else behaving in his way over the past couple of years would have been shown the door. He has for a period, single handedly damaged the Rabbitohs hugely as a club.

Bennett, for all his faults, seems to be one of the very few capable of managing him. At least, so far.

Robbo managed him very well for a long period, but eventually even that reached a breaking point.

I suspect he'll be resigned at the Rabbits (with or without behavioural clauses) but he won't last the season next year.

After that he'll either retire and fade away to the bush, or perhaps a year in the Super League where he'll inevitably be sacked for something and shipped back to Aus.

'Trell is Wayne's 'unfinished business'. There's zero chance of him cutting him loose.

IMO it's been a long season for Souffs and none of them give a stuff. 'Trell's end to the season raises character issues in my books but all will be forgiven once Wayne arrives (which says something else about his character - you don't just get handed Wayne's respect on a platter... he's earned that relationship).

It's all very well to say he shouldn't surround himself with the type of scum who would circulate that photo but I doubt he can avoid all the hangers on that would be swarming around him.

Before he got injured again he showed he can still dominate at the top level, at centre, in SOO2.
