And most of all, their long kicking game is so much better.
But this is Sam walkers time to stand up.
Someone mentioned leadership.. on friday night Teddie threw a pass at the end of a multi hand move by us, to nobody just hoping. It was the 4th tackle and totally not required. That is not leadership. (But still love him!) and KEary has me worried since that Manly game...that was not leadership! They need to get better.
Yes, as I said before, at our best we can beat anyone. My one concern other than discipline is our long kicking game isn’t as good as many other teams. Teddy, pass the ball. Keary, careful who you pass the ball to! I’m still angry Parra let Penrith back into the game. We would be second and Penrith would be fourth!

If we played them now I'd be confident of beating them.

If Cleary stays on the field Penriff are still the team to beat.
We had eleven on at one stage, too!

And only lost because Critta faked an injury when Radley tackled him perfectly legally

Everyone always talks about how scary Melbourne are this year and that they'll be tough to beat but we almost beat them last year, I don't remember specific times but Walker kicked the field goal to put us ahead and we got ran down in the final 5 minutes or so.

For that game due to injuries and suspension we had a backline that legitimately resembled a NSW Cup side. Tedesco, Pauga, Momirovski, Allan and Paulo. This year our backline if healthy will be Tedesco, Tupou, Suaalii, Manu and Dom Young, each player is a significant upgrade over last years counterpart. JWH, Tupounuia and Watson also didn't play in that game and obviously that causes issues given how good those players are.

Fletcher Baker played last year, his replacement is Spencer Leniu who is not only the Origin bench forward but has also won a couple of comps already and has lifted since leaving Panther Town. Needless to say I think if it comes down to us and Storm again and we both play well the Roosters will emerge victorious. The Panthers are a bit more difficult and the more intimidating side but as others have mentioned they have looked weaker this year and with a busted Cleary they will struggle.

I think if the Roosters aren't in the grand final the season is a failure, this is our best chance since 2018 and 2019 I think.

Yes no real leader no general in the team for all the years and big games Tedesco and Kez have played in neither of them possess this, Coopers signing got us the chocolates back to back without him it doesn’t happen never threw a pass that wasn’t needed he’d cop the hit and reset just having him in the team was an aura if we needed a field goal opposing teams would target him and it was feint the ball would often go to others in the team.

That’s what Cleary does add Hughes and DCE to that also.

With the amount of experience leaving at the end of the year, a GF win is a must. The only things that concern me are that 1. We struggle to get into the grind with the riff and storm and 2. Unlike other teams they make us pay for our unforced errors.

A Prelim final at the very very least otherwise it's a massive failure considering how we are now positioned.

Massive advantage for Storm & Panthers is our 1 from 20 record against them.

                  JWH
                  Sitili
                  Manu
                  Suaalii
                  Keary

JWH - More game time for May/Leniu/Whyte
Sitili - Wong / Egan Butcher
                  Manu/Suaalii - Billy Smith / Toia / Mark N/Young/Pauga/King
                  Keary - Sandon Smith/Townsend/Elliot

Still will field a very good squad - still some spots to fill

our halves can help win us a premiership. keary's done it before and the sky's the limit for sam walker. the halves isn't a weakness for us
