Depending on the results of the next 2 rounds, in all likelihood we will either still be a chance for 2nd place or we will be fighting to stay in the top 4.
I can see Robbo resting players if the Panthers win the next two games. Souths would love to see us lose a player or two to suspension leading into the semi's. The Panthers may rest players in round 27 but they play after us and can't get the minor premiership unless the Storm drop the next two.

As much as we hate South's I would happily lose a club game to win the competition.

Give some of the retirees one last game.. Jennings, Napa, Sitilli and maybe JWH. and mix in with some fringe young players.

      No!
No playing JWH against Souths unless necessary.
In fact no playing him in any game unless it's necessary.

Souffs would probably lose to our reserve grade team they way they are going.

That's ridiculous- he hasn't played in 6 weeks he needs to get some match fitness back.

The Roosters need to win at least 2 of the last 3 - these are danger games against teams with nothing to lose - Raiders still a chance of making the 8 depending on the results - As you seen tonight anyone can beat anyone - Tigers down 16-0 after 20 and end up wining 34-26 vs Sea Eagles

More likely the Storm will rest players round 27 vs Broncos which may help them if still in the race for the 8 ?

In todays game any team can beat any other team under the right conditions so we need to turn up and play our best footy no matter who we play.

Tix printed …the track work to and from Brisneyland is a pain in the freckle , but what can you do , we only see the lads live 2-3 times a season and we ain’t missing out , so swings and roundabouts

I will be disappointed if we lose any of the remaining games, but I still believe that Robinson will rest players.

If you have a look at next week, the Cowboys are $1.61 favorites against the Storm? Either the betting agencies know the Storm is going to rest players or the Cowboys are the new favorites.

Oh we'll beat 'em for sure. I think the only worry is that while they're down 60-0 the refs will help them stage a comeback, we'll get triggered by messy calls / footy and some cat will lie down claiming JWH has broken his back after falling into a tackle. Boom. 5 Weeks. No Billy Slater 'but he's retiring sir' precedent. Goodbye JWH...

I'm cringing just thinking about it because I know there's a big chance of it happening.

That's strange as the Storm are more likely to rest players in the last game the same as Penrith have if they wrap up the minor premiership by round 26. In 2022 Penrith rested 15 players in the last round game vs Cowboys.

That may give Brisbane a leg up if still in contention for the 8 in round 27 ( Eels/Dolphins/Storm). - they can finish on 30 - Dragons on 28 need to win 2 of their last 3 ( Sharks , Eels , Raiders) - Dolphins on 26 at least 2 and likely all 3 ( Storm, Bronco's, Knights)

The Storm (40) have no so called easy games. They play the Dolphins , Cowboys and Broncos - Penrith (36) play the Raiders , Rabbitohs and Titans

The cheese has been removed from tomorrows side, with Sandon starting at 9, and Docker Clay on the interchange.

Anyone who thought Brandon Smith was a chance of playing this week was living in fantasy land at this point of the year if he does that calf for a third time he would miss a big chunk of the finals, there would be a decent chance he doesn't play next week as well.
