Not a bad effort from Marky 2nd game in. Very good in the air, both in attack & defense.
Runs: 14
Meters: 213
PCM: 60
Tries: 1
Line Breaks: 1
Tackle Breaks: 5
Offloads: 5
Tackles: 3 (100%)
He also had the quickest play the ball in the team.
Highlights for those interested. If nothing else, have a look from 3:24 to see the sort of play he is capable of:

Good highlights and a great scalp for the Roosters NSW side. Shame they've left their run so late, but there have been some nice signs lately. Would be fantastic to take down the ladder leaders next week.
On Marky, he looked quite good in his first game, and looked very good in his second. Progressing very nicely.

He is well above nsw cup
the edge with toia and Marky n having a field day
interesting two tries potentially tries got knocked back! What happened when Foketi went over and then again when mark n passed to gromek who brown through but then got called back?
roosters signing him for $500k and letting $700k suaali go to a $1.5ml rugby contract seems a brain dead last act of desperation contract by the ARU
roosters win here hands down with a better player for less money

- Above all he's playing on the right wing so it's an early assumption but I assume that's where he's learning how to play? He comes inside his centre occasionally but I don't read that as him 'playing centre', I just read that as a tactic to run the ball down the middle from within our 20 (Toops style 'prop runs', which he has the power/speed to do).
- He was a little bit confused in defence (e.g. the Bears' second try). Still learning...
- He's got a solid 'falling' offload that looked really slick (on both sides of the field). Hopefully he's evasive and quick thinking like that in 1st grade (noting NSW Cup lends itself to players gratuitously being able to put in a bit more razzle dazzle without being fully tested by the defence).
- While he scored a try, it was nothing particularly impressive. Still a meat pie but one would expect most NSW Cup wingers to be able to score that one. Put it another way... who was that big dude? Radradra could just score a fark load of meaties all by himself. Mark N isn't barnstorming through everybody, scoring tries all over the place. THAT SAID... we beat the Bears who are ranked #2! Yes our season's over but we've s*cked all season and suddenly come good. Coincidence?

Both Taoa and Marky M need to sharpen up their defensive attributes before being considered in first grade IMO. It's a whole different ball game in firsts and they'll easily get caught out without the right level of coaching and application.Exonerate the West Memphis Three - www.wm3.org

Mark has Group 1 written all over him. Just a bit green at the moment. Has pace, a step, breaks tackles, great passing skills, kicks, has vision, can catch a ball, hits hard. Just needs to read the game better but that will come.
And at 23 he will only get better. Imagine he will be a star in 5 years time. I just hope he is still with us ffs.
