Anyways since u are here and like coming 2nd in our few debates...let's talk about your prediction that the doggies would be bottom 4 or 5 this year.

I clearly remember selecting them in the top 8 pre-season whereas u had them bottom 4/5 due to having no halfback....

U clearly have the vision of Brett Finch...trying to look past a kiddy pic...allegedly...
Are you alluding to Handbrake Hutchinson? If I'm seeing things correctly, a big part of the Bulldogs success has been because he hasn't been playing. I think he's played only half the season in first grade and hasn't yet troubled the scoreboard and has barely contributed with any try assists like one might expect halfbacks to do.

Until being named as a replacement yesterday, he hadn't played since the round 16 loss to Easts. So far this year, he has played in more losing sides than winning sides and his stats show just how truly ineffective he is...especially compared to Captain Walker.

1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

It was Keiran Foran, Drew Hutchison could have burnt him

      • Spencer Leniu reportedly failed his HIA so if correct he will be missing next game vs Raiders along with JWH and possibly Suaalii - Connor Watson should return and maybe Brandon Smith as well.

He was very good today wasn't he. He gets too focussed on D sometimes so offers little in attack. However he does have some attacking flair which should be encouraged.

yeah, you'd figure heat was a factor in a couple of uncharacteristic errors. that's the last game we play in the hot sun this year.

also, our d's been pretty good this year. we've conceded 71 tries compared to the storm's 69 and they're the minor premiers. if you take out intercepts (which aren't a sign of poor defence) then we probably have a better record than them.
the game is faster and while d will always be crucial, the bar is at a different height. not to mention that scoring a try will always be as valuable as saving a try

What on earth was the penalty at 74.10 for when we were on our way to a try?

I think was Ref thought obstruction to a defender. There was a Titans player loitering in the vicinity.

Are you sure about this? Nobody has mentioned it in the media and with JWH out again our prop stocks are looking thin.

Who knows with these idiot refs?

Terms can be transferred but they still need to hold their meaning. If your argument was team x only plays well in dry conditions then I’d understand the parallel. This is not a hard concept to grasp.

Weird flex & pivot but yes the Dogs have done much better than I expected.

It was mentioned in an match report on the Channel 9 site

Gold Coast's Jaimin Jolliffee gave the Roosters some easy run metres after he was placed on report for a dangerous tackle that flatten Leniu, who was removed from the field with a failed HIA.

The Roosters Medical report says that Leniu passed his HIA - Spencer Leniu passed his HIA assessment at the game. He will be closely monitored this week and will follow Sydney Roosters' contact protocol this week.
