He'd just returned from a 4 week suspension for doing the same thing, but with less force.
They look at his record and go "oh no, not you again" and give him 3 weeks.
Obviously we need to have a cardboard player or rubber player model at training on which he can develop a new tackling style.

May has only been granted 3 30 minute stints in the past 4 games with Jared sidelined. How is he supposed to get into good form if his minutes have appeared to have been dropped again for no apparent reason? The way Robinson has executed his FRF rotations throughout this season has been mind boggling.

He's half resting him for the finals.
Keeping him fit and trained to perfection.

anyway dissapointing by jwh again but he will be fresh and back for either the semi final or pre Lims

If he can harness the energy from the few weeks off in a positive way to put in one last huge stint for the club

we won’t loose anything with Wong coming back for the next 2 weeks anyway

There's probably a stat there somewhere where his suspensions between 2013 - 2019 are much lower compared to 2020 - 2024

I think that would be a certainty. They only really started cracking down in Magic Round 2021 from memory.

Remember that UFC type finals game against them 2 - 3yrs back & they were down to 11 & JWH & Radley decided to go crazy & we lost all advantage.

I hate to say it but in a finals game where there are no second chances, and playing against one of the 3 best sides,Trent will be taking a huge risk playing JWH. The game has moved on in tolerating his physicality and the slightest error by him will leave us short. He has been the backbone of the club for 14 years and this year in club games we could take the risk without end of season consequences. For a finals game a bench spot and used late in the game when either we are behind with nothing to lose, or if we are up and victory likely, he could be used.
