    - If a dude's already wrapped up then don't go in as a third man and try to nail him. Let him make the extra 2m or offload (tackle the guy he offloads to instead!)

    - As the old TV commercial says... get down low and go go go! The NRL's internal disciplinary unit has a zero tolerance approach towards any high contact and they're palming off 3-5 week suspensions all over the place. I would prefer that we lose to the Faders and have EVERYBODY available for week 1 of an away final over winning and then having to play out the finals series without multiple key players due to 3-5 week suspensions.

We also had two immortals in that game. And arguably the greatest team ever assembled

More than happy to see Jennings back We are lucky to have him and he has not let us down once this year In fact I’d be in favour of giving him another year

Sitili is needed in the forwards this week

Yes...I'm for another year for Jennings.
He'd be very handy to have around, our backs lineup is far from settled.

Yeah the Faders are shyte overall but Sticky's good at spoiling our momentum.

Papalii, Whitehead, Tapine, Horsburgh, Hudson...etc won't just roll over and let our forwards run amok. Their season is on the line and I expect them to take this game VERY seriously.

yeah, but it was odd to think that we could learn something from the rheinberger situation (other than sometimes gambles play off).

this weekend isn't about blooding a player, it's about working towards winning the comp this year. if we think toia (unlikely) or marky (not impossible) can help us do that should we have an injury in our 3/4s then fair enough but personally i think jennings has come from nowhere to be the best option

Junior Pauga will be next cab off the rank if we need another 3/4. Both Toia & Marky would be high risk, high reward options that I’m not sure are worth the gamble until they both have more footy under their belts.

Agree mate, it's not the time to throw these guys in the deep end. And I think we all know Robbo is one of the most risk averse Coaches in the comp.

Roosters have to win their last two to cement 2nd place. Be a hard game vs. Raiders, who are a in your face, physical, and niggling side when they have their game faces on and can be very hard to beat.

                      Currently - Live ladder - top 8
                      1. Storm 42
                      2. Roosters 36 - plus 269
                      3. Sharks 36 - plus 204
                      4. Panthers 36 - plus 158
                      5. * Bulldogs 34 - plus 134
                      6. Cowboys 34 - plus 51
                      7. * Sea Eagle 33 -plus 133
                      8. Dragons - 26 - minus 120

                      * Game in progress - half time - Sea Eagles 24 vs Bulldogs 12

Yep, that was the point. You’d think a grand final against the team that beat you last start would be the least likely game you’d blood a player, but Gibson made it work. There are much bigger games to come than this one, but I hope Jennings does the job for us tomorrow. The bloke playing centre on the other side needs to start putting in some big games.

Ricky's Raiders can still make the 8.
They're a big team and are better since Fogarty returned.
We need to be wary of them and play a quality game.

I can’t access it but the Canberra times is reporting a “massive injury blow” for the raiders and Jamal Fogerty’s picture is there. Could be big if he is out: https://www.canberratimes.com.au/sto...oosters-clash/

Fogarty is a great kicker. Hits them so sweetly. YoungKD should be relieved.
