  • Roosters crowds

For the second straight season, the Roosters are set to have the highest average home crowds for any NSW-based team - 23.011 to date. This is despite not hosting the Anzac Day match this year or having a home game in Magic Round (though we did have Vegas).

As the great Gordon Tallis once said: "The Roosters don't have any fans and should be re-located."

Great to hear. It has always been a bizarre talking-point - that the Roosters have no fans and get no crowds. A simple look at the stats shows that that's not correct, but people still parrot it.

Will the flog address the home ground stats on NRL 360?

          Tallis lol. What a clown!

I haven't heard anyone have a dig at our home crowd attendance for some time.

build the stadium and the crowds will come? not to mention we're playing good footy. one of the reasons people said our crowds were low cos we played in an enormous stadium with seats that didn't have the camouflage so knockers convinced themselves that a half full 40 000 stadium was a smaller crowd than a 3/4 full 20 000 stadium

Hopefully everyone gets down to the game this week and bumps up the crowd. Kids are free for the game so more reason to watch it live.

That’s a pretty amazing stat, especially beating the knights crowd average.

the new stadium has done wonders is seems.

1.50pm Police v Australian Firefighters match
3.30pm, Police Helicopter landing, abseiling from the stadium roof, involvement from the riot and dog squads, a marching band and much more.

Be there for our last home game of the regular season!
We absolutely need to win it.
We need a large crowd making a lot of noise to intimidate the Raiders.
                  Yes, bump up the crowd.
Sunday afternoon, kids can still be in bed 'early'.
Time to show the world we do have many fans at games.

I can't stand the big buffoon but he came up with one of the best lines about our crowds....Gordy reckons we count em with a fork.

The Broncos should pack out their stadium for every home game, even with the Dolphins in the comp. Brisbane has been a one-team town from 1988 to 2022, which is an advantage, especially with a stadium that can hold 52,500. - Lang Park as it was previously known as had a capacity of 40,000 before the redevelopment.

I did read that Suncorp could be the venue for the swimming for the 2023 Brisbane Olympics. . Apparently, no new stadiums will be built either.

An original 1908 to present day Roosters Rugby League club accused of having no fans....only dumb simpletons would digest that sort of crap.

We are not few but many spreading out from the Eastern Suburbs to all over the state & then plenty more into other Ozzie states & countries around the world.

I would wear the jersey on Holidays in Europe, South America & Noth America & get positive recognition everywhere...it was a symbol for other Ozzie's to recognise you & come on over for a chat & a beer.

Been here since the inception of Rugby League & will keep living long into the future moving forward.

Gordie uses a fork to count....but its actually a 2 pronged pitchfork to match his IQ.......

Agree, the Roosters, have plenty of fans all over the world, I have given a few jerseys away to friends overseas and the towns and villages my friends live in are have a fair percentage of Chooks fans because of it, our jersey just looks the best of the lot.......they also tune into the NRL etc whenver they can over the weekend when the footy is on.....and some have joined social media Roosters supporters groups as well.....
