IMO it all speaks to their culture as a club. They deserve the spoon and should hand all ticket/membership revenue back to their fans as everybody's switched off.

The Tigpies and Eels have at least tried to put on a show for their fans (albeit poorly). Souffs though? They did shyte while expecting sky high results... blamed the coach... signed Wayne Bennett and since then have completely switched off while waiting for their 'super coach' to save the day.

Bunch of deadbeats. The upshot to all this is that HOPEFULLY we don't have to play some stupid, media-mandated grudge match in round 27. The only Easts v Souffs grudge match that's worth watching is one where we put a cricket score on them.

If we really think a 40km difference between playing at the Riff or playing at home is what our performance and result hinges on, we are no hope anyway.

Yeah would be better at home but I don't think worth risking our big stars against those grubs. Could get dragged into the scrappy stuff. I think we can roll Souffs with reserve grade side anyway. Avoiding Melb away would be the main concern for me, although think we are no worse than 3rd now that Cronulla lost assuming we win today.
