I believe we *over-achieved* this season, with the team we had.
Don't get me wrong, I loved every minute of the ride, to get to 2nd on the ladder.
Yesterday was always going to happen when we got to the race for the finals and the grand prize.
Anyone can win any game on any day.
We made the 8, then top4, better than a lot of other teams have.
If we can regroup and beat Souths, our season will look better.

Time Trent got angry, Roosters way is ok up to a point, but not when it makes our players sitting ducks.
Hadley says "stay down and make them look at it".
Time we got a big team and played "knock em down, drag em out" footy like the Raiders did.

Seeing as he doesn't have a finals series to focus on there should be nothing stopping us for locking him up before November 1st.

I hope I'm wrong but ironically these situations (major injuries) also develop philosophical thinking on the player (and advisors) that you're actually only a few of these injuries (like ACL) to end your career..So the thinking maybe, anything could happen so you accept playing for the highest bidder before that potential career ending mishap.

Whitehead made his grubby act a big deal by sooking that Robbo had a go at him - which Robbo made clear in the press conference - Robbo owed him nothing after illegally maiming our player. How outrageous that he portrayed himself as the victim - and is now being supported by the media!

You've gotta remember this is the same media that in 2019 claimed our GF win was illegitimate because of "6 again", but hang on, in 2018 when we towelled up the Storm, many in the media were actually questioning THAT GF win, because it was unfair and cheating for us not to disclose to Melbourne that Cooper's shoulder was broken!!

I have had to ban myself from reading comments everywhere online about our horrendous day yesterday. The number of people out there claiming that it is somehow karma coming to get us - they don’t specify exactly how this is karma, but I’m not sure they understand the concept, or have the capacity to - that it’s become necessary for my stress levels to avoid them.

Not unexpected, but I do register that people’s hatred for the Roosters is next level. And largely media-driven.
