  • So Penrith in Penrith

Can we do it week 1? Will be a hard task without our main man and the riff getting clez back.

Must win match this one otherwise we will face the storm in the prelim.
    - IF we progress after week 2

    2025?

That isn't guaranteed if we lose next week and the Sharks win.

Yep, not sure who I would rather, with Radley,Walker probably in doubt and no jwh, either match could get ugly

If we play like that we ain’t a guarantee of beating the Rabbitohs.

canberra played us well slow the ruck down come off you line fast and we shit ourselves (the refs also won’t penalise). The riff annd the frizz are 100 times better at it in finals footy, no Sammy no Brandon who knows re Victor and Su… if we did it would be one of our great wins. I think we’re cooked unless kez turns back the clock

            Be Penrith or Storm away

            Sharks play Manly
            Roosters play Souths

It’s a two team race now. Riff likely win it again.

Depends if the chin comes back healthy because no chin no win.

You do know their record without The Chin is as good if not better. Luai is a very good player. Unpopular, but foolish to underestimate.

I was still reeling from the shock of losing 3 quality players but even with our best team on the paddock we still have an abysmal record against the top teams. Reason and history says we have no chance.

Cleary will not play in this game. It’s too big a risk for Penrith, who will probably feel they can win without him and get him another fortnight off.

If we can magically learn how to defend in two weeks we’re a chance. And then get a break ourselves before a likely prelim against the Sharks or Manly.

Exactly right. The tigpies will be a force in attack next season with Luai running them around.

I am going to look at the world through rose coloured glasses and say that if we stay healthy we will win next week. My theory is the more you lose, the closer you are to a win and that there will be no pressure or expectation on us at all. I am hoping for a good old fashioned ambush much like the 2018 GF.
